Default problems w/arp bolts and felpro.....help

01 ss w/ mti stage 2e heads and c1 hammer cam and all bolt ons. We installed with proper torque specs and sequence. First time to gateway raceway started leaking anti-freeze from middle two passanger cylinders. The package was bought from a friend and he had the same problem. Anyone else run into this and any advice. Bought ati p-1sc and don't want to change gasket every week.. Installing new gasket next week...

I heard the early ARP bolt sets can be too long and screw things up especially when milled heads or thin head gaskets are used...

I thought they fixed the problem, however... Anybody?

I had a head gasket leak in the exact location with the arp bolts. Was using the oem graphite gaskets.

Switched to tty bolts and mls gaskets and no more problem.

You are not the first by any means.

there have been several threads on this, the bolts were a tad to long and bottoming out. go with the head studs.

Had same problems, leaked fluid out three of the four driver side cylinders Used stock TTY bolts, and stock "99" gaskets, with no problems so far. The car has seen three passes at the track with no leaks
