Default quick help with heads

I got screwed buying some used 243 heads....I have a btr stage 4 cam and I'm trying to locate some new 243 head's or what set of heads will work with this cam...I know gm does not make these castings anymore.....help help

243/799 heads were standard on truck 4.8/5.3 from 2007 thru I believe 2013 They have solid valves not the hollow LS6. But that means they made a couple pair.

If you want only new cathedral heads, you're probably talking aftermarket. If I'm putting out for aftermarket heads, call Tony Mamo. I'd also look into the trick flows. Either way, the 220's.

Alternately you could go TEA, PRC, AI for reworked heads. They'll technically be used, but they'll have backing of a company.

Call Brian Tooley he sells new trickflow 220 as cast with some hand porting and powder metal guides so you can use stock rockers at a good price.
