ill simplify my earlier question. ls6 with btr 4 cam. runs great. If I send my 243's off to AI and they do not deck them and I use the same thickness gasket and same valves.....will I have any new PTV issues or should they be fine to bolt up and run.

of course the only way to know is to measure, but I dont have time nor tools

 

if the cam is the same, the head's deck is left alone and the same gasket is used you will be fine
