Default Building a 408, thoughts on this cam?

I am putting together a 408 for my C3 Vette. It will be an iron block 6.0, TSP rotating assembly with flat top pistons, ported LS3 heads with an LS3 intake. Static compression should work out to 11.6:1 with stock thickness headgaskets, but I also have a set of .040 gaskets at my disposal, which should bring me up to right around 11.9:1, but this will be a pump gas motor so I am worried that will be a bit high. I can run it on 100 octane low lead like I do with the current motor but I don't want to be fouling up O2 sensors all the time on low lead fuel.

I have a camshaft that I acquired a couple of years ago when I bought some parts that has just been sitting here, and I wonder if it will work decent for this combo. It is a Comp 251/255 624/624 111LSA + 2 using LSL lobes. I'm certainly not opposed to using a different grind but this is just sitting here on the shelf doing nothing.

The Vette will be a street car with a TH400 with a 3200 stall converter and 3.70 gears in it.

Any input is appreciated, thanks guys.

I would look at the new LS3/Stroker Cams from CAMMOTION and or
Talk with Kip. Your cam specs are way too big IMO and even
Well ported ( better exhaust ratio ) squre port heads benefit from
At least 6-8* even up to 12 degrees more exhaust duration.
Something like 230*/238*-236*/244* with LSA and advance specced
To your Compression and goals would drive and perform
Much better except for an all out strip car.
