doing headgasket,how much to mill heads? What's up guys,im doing a headgasket on my trans am, they are 241 heads,they were passing oil to the radiator,anyway I took the heads off and I'm wondering how to determine if the heads are going to be ok after a resurfacing. The reason I ask is because it may have overheated a couple times not too bad though so I have a few questions.
1.So how much could these heads afford to take off the mating surface?
2.Should I buy oem replacement graphite gaskets or should I go thicker based on the fact that the head surface will have material removed?
3.How much should a pair of these heads cost?
