Default pushrod/spring question

I'm trying to change a pushrod in my ta right now, just wondering, do you need a spring compression tool in order to remove the rocker arms? I would not like to get hit in the face with a spring.

Thanks,
Andy

no, you just need an 8mm socket to remove the rocker bolt then pull the rocker off and remove the PR. you dont have to touch the springs. the springs are held to the vavle stem by the locks and retainer
