Default 243 vs l92

I've been doing a little research on the l92 heads lately. I had planned on going with the 243s and ls6 intake or keeping my truck intake. And porting the heads. I know the l92/l76 combo flows better. But is it worth all the extra money to do it? I'm aiming for around 550hp at the flywheel. I have a lq4 .030" over with factory style dished Pistons. And a tick performance SNS stage 3 cam. Would it be worth it going the l92/l76 route? Seeing as if have to get a new throttle body and the DBC conversion. Or should I be able to reach my goals fine with the 243s?

It might make comparable power if you have the 243s ported and get a FAST intake. Stock for stock, I think you will find the LS3 heads and intake to be quite a bit stronger.
