Default good powerful cam

Ok know that i have the t/a i will have 3k to spend on it. I want a cam and that is a must . I am looking for a cam thats not too radical but has alot of thump in it and makes really good real wheel hp numbers. Would a trex deliver that or would that be to radical?

The T-Rex is a very radical cam and requires a lot of tuning to run properly for street duty...

You should give Futral Motorsports a call. His cams make GREAT power, with the best driveability i've ever seen. The #'s in my sig are made with a cam that drives COMPLETELY stock.....

with 3k to spend i'd pick up a smaller cam and some nice heads. you'll have as much or more power then you would T-rex only and you'll retain a great streetable powerband.

you need to to more research.

G5X3 + Comp 921 package - $1350 from LG Motorsports
QTP LT Race headers w/ Y-pipe - $1035.00 from QTP
LS1 Edit - $450 from Carputing

$2835 total for a TON of power... thats just my recommendation though
Do a search for my name or for G5X3 and you will see the benefits of this cam!

looking again at your sig if you want a big cam then prepare to add some LT's into that budge to get the most out of the setup.

My cam is half the size of the G5X2 and X3, driveability is light years better, and I make comparible or more #'s with equal flowing heads using an FMS cam.....Just a little FYI

I drove my friends car that has the t-rex cam in it. Its not half as bad as the people who have never even had/seen the cam make it out to be, but everyone around you defiantly knows you have a cam
I think if you have to ask, "Is this cam too big?" then that cam is not for you. I will be putting that cam in my auto dd in a few weeks along with a tune. Ill let you know how it goes.
