...I assume your crank is 4.0"? ...i think your out of luck on using the stock tray... How about making your own; I saw this in a magazine and it did not seem too diffucult....they cut out a cardboard template that followed the rotating circumfrance of the crank - kinda like a scrapper plate as opposed to a round baffle with holes...
...then they cut out the shape using a piece of steel or aluminum based on the template and drilled some holes for the bolts that held it in place...
when the crank spins the scrapper plate nocks the oil drops off....cool right?
If you want to bag it it does not kill too much power - say 2HP maybe on an engine dyno ....the weight of the oil for balancing is not that much either so no Biggie leaving it off...

We use some washers to pick up extra clearance on the windage tray. I am using a 6.0 block with a f-body pan and a 4.075" stroke crank. Had some extra ones from the ARP main stud kit that I used.
