Do I have to have a higher compression setup with running a cam with a 261 intake and a 265 exh

Is that the duration at 050? You don't HAVE to, but higher compression will alleviate some low rpm drive ability issues

Compression is basically free power..why not run as much compression as feasibly possible for your intended operating conditions and available fuel? Running a carb or are those gross numbers?
