Thanks for the support guys!! Looks like I'm the guy that is getting royally screwed but that's ok. The situation will be under control shortly! My wife and I are reporting this to the IFCC (internet fraud complaint center). I have made many attempts to get this taken care of but no one likes to return my calls. Go figure!! Anyway, thanks again!! Jim

Until Jim calls or e-mails me to tell me that he has his $6K back or a motor, I am not removing the sticky in the for sale section and will do whatever I can to help him clear this up.

$6K is a great deal of money and whatever needs to be done to clear this up, needs to be done asap, because in my mind this is

ToSloForU - you may have gotten involved in this deal to help a friend sell a motor and are getting dragged along with it - I would think that this would give you some incentive to get this one figured out.

It's good to see the LS1tech community standing together to prevent deals like this from being swept under the rug. Good luck to the guy that has the motor or his money coming to him. Also, a thumbs up for those of you trying to help him.

I'm sorry, I have a hard time understanding what needs to be resolved. It is a pretty simple concept. Step 1. Guy A sends Guy B money, Step 2. Guy B sends Guy A product. You're off to a great start, now just move on to step 2. Or, if step 2 is no longer (or wasn't in the first place) a viable option, feel free to revisit step 1 (in reverse, of course).

There you go, I hope that helps!

Cheers!

Oh, thanks for that explanation. I hope everybody follows those exact ways. Your very smart. As if you read everything, I sold the motor for a friend and Jim has been talking with him, not me. So that is how Im involved with all this stupid crap. Now Ive learned my lesson, not to help out friends by selling parts.

Take it easy on the sarcasm.

If that does not get resolved in a week we will be turning over all your info and info we have to your local police department. I hear you are selling it for someone else. Well you better get that guy to call the buyer otherwise someone will be getting a visit from the cops, $6K = felony.

Then why dont you get on everybody else also. Yes I was selling it for a friend. Talk to poolfanatic and then you can get all the details from him. And I have spoken to Jim also. I called him today and he said that he was cool with everything. And we will be keeping in touch so this matter will get resolve ASAP.

This is defentially geting old.
Please comtact the police.
There is a chance of Jim never seeing anything from this deal. Maybe the other party will get to keep the 6gs but he will also get some jail time.
If this were my friend I would take about 10 other LS1 friends over to his house and force the transaction to get resolved.
Good luck to everyone involved except the seller of course.

What happened. Did your friend forget how to box up a motor and ship it freight?

This is not very acceptable in the hot rodding world of buying parts. When someone pays cash for their parts they want it NOW. Money talks, bullshit walks. The buyer is talking, all your friend seems to be doing is bullshiting.
