Default More problems with 317 heads

I pulled the springs of of a couple cylinder heads that I just removed from my t/a. 2 of the intake valves won't come out of the cylinder hesd. They go into the guides a little and won't come out any farther. It looks like one of them has a burr on the end of the valve. I carefully filed it out and it still will not come out.I didn't want to pound the valve out of the head. So how do you get the valve out of the cylinder head? Will it damage the valve guide?

Keep filing. You probably haven't finished removing the burr. Happens a lot, usually when you're not carful with the spring compressor.

If you look close the end of the tip of the valve is slightly mushroomed on the tip.

Check the keeper grooves for burrs, too.
Also, is it bent?
