Default Oil pressure question

Of course it could be different depending on what set up you are running. But what kind of oil pressure do you guys look for? I always had the mind set that A lot of oil pressure is good and no oil pressure is bad. My stock 98 LS1 was typically just under 40 psi when warm. After my cam swap (as well as springs, push rods, timing chain, and cam gear) once warm, at an idle will sit really close to 20 psi and will cruise around 30 psi. Being lower than what I'm used to seeing, it makes me nervous. Does that seem too low to anyone else?

After my cam and top end change, I'm running 22psi @ hot idle. It will hit 45psi while cruising, then 50+ @ WOT.

Just make sure to check your oul filter after every oil change.

That's what I figured. Just thought I would double check.

Thanks!

If you have less than 10psi per 1k RPM, then you should look into it.
Yours looks just fine.
