During the short time I've been a member of this site, I've read a lot of threads mentioning various camshafts (TSP, LS6, etc) Are these cams stock replacements, or are aftermarket, different length pushrods reguired?

Some came with the factory motor like the LS6 cam, but most of the ones mentioned on here are aftermarket. Just depends...

I don't really know. I relocated and got out of cars about 20 years ago, but now I'm ready to get back into it. I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the SBC/BBC, but I'm just in the early stages of learning about the lS engines. I'm leaning towards a street/strip build since I'm older, and don't need it to be a daily...I also like the idea of a carb intake with one of the aftermarket efi setups (Holley, Fitech, etc.)
