Default Stage 2, the right parts

LEt me try and post this again. Got to the last line and my computer crashed!!!!

Anyway, got the block all torn down and still cleaning it up a bit, now just planning on what to put inside. Might have found a car, 1969 Camaro, just waiting on e-mail for that. I'd like to resleeve it, and get the crank down for more stroke or get a new one. Not sure what route to take on that yet. Pistons are another area I am looking at, who what where??? (darn, that post I was working on was a heck of a lot funnier... (Again!)

Last it will be the cam. Everything else I can handle but with an engine like this there aren't too many out there to look at. I'm going with the LS1 and GMPP carbed intake and crab. Still contemplating heads a bit too. Not really trying to keep prices low at this point. I'd like to figure out a few set-ups and options for all proce ranges myself. (Darn middle finger must have gotten used too much yesterday... Keep hitting the "o" intead of the "i" as in "proces"....) Then trim it down to fit! What to do, what to do???

My goals for this car are...

1) Speed & Power
2) Racability
3) Streetability
4) Peformance/handling
5) Looks

All go not much show. ( It won't be pimer for very long though!!!! Although primer does go quikcer! )

Any opinions suggestions comments as always are welcome and from anyone on here, they are taken very seriosly! Thanks again!

Mike

Best way to get some ball park prices are to go to the sponsor websites on the right and price the diffferent cubic inch motor combos. Are you doing the assembly yourself? You should already have a twelve bolt in that car so a tranny build up, driveshaft, fuel system, brakes, suspension and radiator are the other things to factor into the cost. It is alway more then what you price it out to because things come up when building a car so over estimate the cost.
