Default what else do i have to change with that cam ???

Hy all

after a long search...i want to go with that kind of cam

Pls let me know which other parts do i need to change with that little aggressiv cam ???

btw ....what do u think about the oil pump and double roller timing chain ?? is that a must have ? i use the car just for the weekend no 1/4 mile races ....maybe some nice burnouts :-)

Sure isnt that "aggressive" and the lift is weak. The lsa is very very narrow.
Why are you looking at that cam? Sound or cheap price? We sell so many cams and can get you alot better cam in terms of drivability and power output.
Trying to get a cam just ao you can use ls6 springs is working backwards.
If you get a performance cam you need a good set of springs. we have our cam kits on sale for $689 right now. Comes with a dual spring kit pushrods and the cam...nearly ANY cam you can imagine.

Cam specs make it look like a noisy carb cam.

my generell Goal is to get a very rough / choppy idle..... so the driveability / power is not the Focus.....it is more or less a Show car...

The LS1 engine is totally stock...

what do u think about the oil pump ....the engine has around 50.000 miles , so far no oil pressure Problem.

Also makes it sense to get a double roller chain ???? just for a stock engine ?

With that cam, and no driveability/power goal in mind, I would probably throw in a $60 set of new LS6/LS2 springs and nothing else, and call it a day.

No double roller. Just an ls2 chain would work nicely. I always upgrade the pumps honestly because they are cheap insurance.
