I'm trying to hook up my shift light in my 2001. How do I get the grey plastic cover off to make sure that I'm hooking up to the #10 white wire?
I have a pretty good idea which one it is counting ten pins from the left but I'd like to get the cover off but the bolt that hold the block to the pcm has a washer on it and I can't pull the cover off.

 

There is a little nut of top of it....loosen the nut and......on the corners...there are tabs that u have to push in and at the same time pull on the grey plastic piece. Just make sure the nut is all the way lossened.
