Default Opinions on new build

I picked up an lq4 for a good price that I'm going to get the bottom end refreshed and swap it into my car. I am unsure which route to take and would like some opinions.

Option 1: Cathedral port heads
I have some 799's that I've had laying around for a while and was planning on getting them ported, more than likely by advanced induction (226cc) or Texas speed (stage 2.5). I also would reuse the Streetsweeper HT cam that is currently in my ls1 that has a bad block (only 4K on the cam) along with my ls6 intake, ported throttle body, and 42# injectors.

Option 2: Rectangular port heads
I would sell the ls6 intake and 799s and put the money towards some stock ls3/l92 heads, intake, rockers, trunnions, injectiors, throttle body, etc. I would also need to get a new cam because based on my research, my cam might not work well with this combo. Someone can correct me on this if I'm wrong.

I am on a bit of a budget and after comparing the two, it looks like the ported 799s would be the most cost efficient and would still be a decent combo. The car is mainly a streetcar and I take it to the track only a couple of times a year at most, but when I do race, I would like to have a consistent mid-low 11s car (runs 11.70s with the cam only ls1 now).

Fwiw, the car has an ss3600 and s60 w/ 3.73s.

Based on your budget I think it's a no brainer to go with the 799 heads that you already have
