LM7 swap Hi,
I recently bought a '03 LM7 to swap into my 1972 Monte Carlo.
I will keep the 350 transmission. Rear-end is a 2.73. Nothing crazy here.
You may ask why do i stay with the old tranny. That's because I live in Europe, and shipping costs are really high.
The car weight around 3700 lbs.
My goal is to keep decent torque numbers at low RPM and something close 350 rear wheel hp.
My question is, what is your recommendation for the cam ?

I've done a similar swap. That 2.73 rear really makes it hard to live with.
If you want to keep lots of torque, look at smaller truck cams. Something with a 112 LSA. Duration in the 200-220 range for both intake/exhaust.
