The saga continues....

I have replaced the cats. Still ticking. I have re-checked all the plugs too. I don't think they are arcing. I can't see any arcs in the dark. It definitly is loudest on the passenger side.

Anyone thinks of any other things I could try?

Well I ended up trading it in last year. I don't think the dealer noticed the ticking or else he wouldn't have given me such a good price.

I've recently noticed the same problem with my 1998 Z.. Its kinda
like a faint ticking sound ( Comes from the Drivers side ... under car..

More noticeable when the car has reached operating temperature)

Thought maybe it could be a cause of a a Missed shift I did the other day
3rd to another gear... Not sure..

anybody have any suggestions..

Anyways, my engine has this tick that I can mostly hear only when the car is warm. The tick does get a little faster as I rev, but once I go over 2k rpm the tick goes away.

I put some Lucas Oil Stabilizer to see if it would quiet down and it didnt, I also put some Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner just in case it was my was injectors and no cigar. I listened to all the injectors and they all sound the same. I actually listened to most of the top end of the engine and everything sounded alright. When I listened to the Coolant Temp Sensor, I could hear ticking coming from there. Is that normal? (I used the wooden spoon against the ear trick to 'listen')

I can hear the tick coming from the bottom of the engine bay. It doesnt sound like a spun bearing or anything like that (Ive had one, I know what it sounds like). So, here is a link. Please, download and try to "diagnose" if possible. Thanks a bunch guys.
