Summit Nighthawk 408
Just curious of anyone has any info or a review of this short or long block from Summit. Seems to be a best bang for your buck option.
Pretty sure I can post the URL....

If that's a no go its part # SUM-CSUMPN408001

Understand that the $3300 pricetag is for a shortblock. The combo/kit makes no mention of heads, intake, or electrical. Even though these items are clearly in the provided picture.
It is an iron block, SCAT forged 408 rotating assembly, clevit bearing, cloyes hex-a-just timing set, and a COMP 243/251 .624/.624 114 cam on their LSL lobes.
Still not a bad price for a fully forged iron stroker shortblock. I would turn the cam that it comes with into a paperweight and order a real cam from Martin Smallwood, but other than that it seems like a fairly solid starting point.
