Need help deciding on build option.
Or grab a lq9 from an escalade. And buy a ls1 intake , injectors, tb , harness and accessories?
The engine will be mated to a t56 and swaped into an is300 with 400whp goal and to tq in the whole power band for a nice summer cruiser.

This my first lsx build. The way I see it is that I have 2 options.
But a complete ls1 dropout complete with everything.
Or option 2 . Go to the junkyard and get a lq9 from an escalade. I would the need the ls1 accessories, harness computer and intake setup. Also looks like I would need a harness extension.
Which option would be cheaper. And if the lq9 option is more expensive. Would it be worth it to pick up the diaplacement. Sorry for the confusion.
Basically ls1 dropout or lq9 build from the ground up?
