LQ4 front oil seal surface I have an 02 LQ4 from a Yukon and I have the LS2 accessories from a GTO. Had to fab up a bracket to hold the back side of the alternator since the block wasnt drilled for one of the mounting bolts.
I bought a Camaro/Firebird crank pulley to align the belts since the truck pulley was too long.
What is the sealing surface for the front crankshaft gasket? It's been a few months since I pulled the truck pulley off, but I thought i remembered that pulley going into the front crank seal. So it was sealing on the pulley surface and not the crank.
The new pulley isn't close to touching that seal.
