Default ported heads and stock cam?

I met this guy w/ an M6 SS telling me that w/ boltons...stock cam and his heads he was trapping at 117mph. The guys car is fast, but I did a search and I could find nobody running ported heads w/ a stock cam. So my question is...on a stock cam...how much HP could you pick up APPROXIMATELY with a set of ported heads(stage 1,2,whatever will work). I think he's got long tubes and exhaust also. Thanks in advance.

Well a guy with a Z06 and just cold air intake and AFR heads make 409rwhp and like 390tq. That car should trap 120mph.

Thats not bad...I was impressed w/ this guy cause he did the porting himself. He was telling me how he was able to beat a couple 11 second cars on the street cause they trap about the same as him. He took me for a ride...lots of top end. Thats what I like about the LS1s!

I picked up 25 rwhp with hand ported heads (stock valves) running the stock cam and exhaust manifolds back in 1999. Headers were still coming on the scene at the time, as were cams. Later in 2000, guys who had long tubes picked up 40 rwhp by adding Stage 2 heads and keeping the stock cam. Once they found out they could gain another 40 rwhp by adding an aggressive cam, they did those too.
