LQ4 build help!
I have a swapped 4th gen Camaro with a 05 Lq4 that I did about 2 years ago. And now I want more power. Only mods are a LS6 intake, ported throttle body, and Racetronix fuel pump upgrade.
I have been gathering some parts and so far I have stock 799 heads, Ms4 cam kit, Ls7 lifters, Ls2 trays, Straub trunion bushings, and ARP cam, cam retainer, and head bolts.
I plan on getting TSP 1 7/8 LT's, full exhaust, new LS2 timing chain, and a improved racing oil pan baffle. I am looking to get my heads CNC ported, but I don't know if I should go with the bigger valves or not? Also I am thinking about picking up a Fast intake, but not sure if I should go with the 92mm or the 102mm? I know my stock fuel rail will fit on the 92, but I would have to change to LS2 style fuel rails for the 102. Either would need a new throttle body. Also looking at bigger injectors and tying to decide between 36lb and 42lb? And finally trying to figure out which oil pump I need. Car has a stock LS6 pump in it now.
Thanks David
