Did I buy the wrong spark plug wires? **TITLE should read "wrong spark plug wires" my apologies**
Hey guys... New to working on cars here and I wanted to change the spark plug wires but suddenly I am thinking I bought the wrong set of wires for my LS1. I bought MSD's Universal 8.5mm spark plug wire set here: http://www.jegs.com/i/MSD-Ignition/121/31229/10002/-1
What made me buy these was the "universal" part but will these actually fit my engine? I don't think there's any mods or anything on it just stock... I feel really dumb now for not buying a set of spark plug wires already made for the LS1 engine. The connectors to the spark plug on this wire set also look wildly different from the stock wires as well as wires sold assembled online.
If they won't fit, I already cut some up so it is too late to try and return them. Is there a way to buy boots/coil connectors that will fit the engine and put them on the wire?

You can hack those up and make them work I suppose but you could have just gone to a local auto parts store like O'Reillys or AutoZone and they probably have the f body specific MSD wires in stock.
