Hello all, new to the form and new to LS engines. Went to the junkyard and picked up L59 5.3 with 706 heads out of a 03 Suburban for my 81 Cj rock crawler. I got her home and checking things out and seems a faulty lifter has taken out a lobe the camshaft. Time for upgrade So I need some recommendations on a new cam. Also I'm going carburated. I have already purchased the MSD 6ls timing controller. I would also like some recommendations on intake manifold and carburetor. I would like to keep the truck exhaust manifolds off of this engine
