cylinder heads looking for some advice and suggestions for some cnc'd heads that will go on a stock rebuilt 6.0 iron block with dished stock pistons. using a texas speed low lift cam 216 / 220 500 lift and 111 lsa stock truck intake and throttle body going in a 2500hd with a 4l80 and 4:11's
the truck will be used for towing and plowing still so I want a lot of low end torque and still want to keep the compression low
the stock 317's are junk exhaust seats are wasted so if I have to replace prob time to upgrade
also like to keep the cost down looking at the texas speed stage 2.5 lq9 but......

You will gain very little from larger port heads with a .500 lift cam.
Either swap to another set of 317s and have them milled to bump compression a little, or get a set of either 243 or 799 castings and call it done.

will a ported head lose low end torque? is there a disadvantage to running them? I only want to buy heads for this truck once. if I decide to up the cam later I don't want to have to swap heads then
