Has Anyone Find Damage To BTR Trunions Like Comp? I've been doing research about trunion upgrades lately for my new build and have read many issues with the comp kit, which I currently have in my car. For my next motor I was looking into the BTR or Straub kits and my question is, has anyone taken apart a BTR trunion and seen any damage like the comps get?
In a thread I came across Brian, states that their kit is essentially the same as the comp but with better snap rings.

They're only case hardened like most of the others so good chance of it, fwiw the Harland Sharp kits are made out of a better full heat treated material but they're expensive.
I'd spend the extra money for the CHE kit, they're a manufacturer & the 2 you mentioned sell parts & they have an introductory price this month.
