Default L33 build vs lq9

Hi all, I picked up a 2005 Sierra SLT with an l33 last summer for $1000 Canadian. Always wanted an LS powered vehicle and I thought that was a great way to get started and it runs and drives great. I can get 6l's all day long for $240.
so now I'm at a cross road, either way I will be getting LS FiTech 750hp kit.

My goals are in the 550 to 600whp range.
basically some stiffer valve springs and a turbo freshen up my engine a bit and I will be there. Or do I build a 6l with l92 heads and aggressive cam. Will get me close and can turbo next year for even more power.
once i buy my inatke I am committed.
The 102mm throttle body will probably give up some torque down low when not in boost on a 5.3 no doubt, so I would want to size my turbo so it starts to boost around 1400rpm and take me to 5200 to 5500

Keep in mind this is a budget build and machining costs in Canada are high and our dollar is the ***** right now. Thanks in advance for you opinions and advice.

550 to 600 is easy money these days. no need for aftermarket fuel injection either.

vs racing gt45 kit in one of many flavors, trickflow sloppy stage 1 cam, sd 80's and a walbro 450

Id stick with the L33 and turbo that. You can do 600whp on the stock L33 cam/heads/intake.

My reasoning for the FiTech was it takes care of the fuel injectors,102mm TB,Tunning software,2 wide band 02 sensors and gives a aluminum car style intake.
Also would make swapping the engine into another vehicle down the road a bit easier.
And how I justify it to myself is the cost of the software plus paying some one to tune it, and buying the wide bands and injectors seperately. I know it's cost more than buying HP tunners and injectors, but I can make changes on the fly and not have to get it retuned all the time.

You don't need a 102mm throttle body, or that absolutely crap aluminum intake. The stock truck intake and small throttle body have been 7s in the quarter mile in a full weight street car.

Cut the caps off of the stock injectors and they will support 550-600whp.
You've already made 50% of the FITech setup useless.
