maybe i can get a reply here now... I will be running amsoil straight 30 break in oil for prolly 300 miles or so.. From my research i have heard to just run a conventional oil for a couple flushes then switch to whatever you want.. I have searched and searched, i can't seem to find the zinc content on any oils.. What conventional oil is best? Was just planning on running the castrol gtx. Any help is much appreciated.

Break-in oil is for ring seal. Once ring seal has been achieved
(3-5 WOT pulls from 3500-6500 RPM 3rd gear up grade if
Possible AFTER bringing water to at least 190* & Oil up
To at least 170*) you now have ring seal and your engine is broken-in.
Feel free change to a synthetic oil. If you have high spring pressures
And you want high ZDDP the AMSOIL 10W/30 ZRod Oil has
1200+ PPM Zinc & Phosphorous along with anti rust & corrosion
Inhibitors for vehicles that sit in winter or non daily drivers.
The high ZDDP can cause shorter catalytic converter life
For vehicles so equipped. If you have specific questions about
Which AMSOIL Product is best for your application feel free
To PM me, I can also provide Preferred Customer (wholesale pricing)
Info as well as dealer info for those who would like to explore
A part time opportunity which can allow writing off a portion
Of our addiction. (see my build in Dyno section LOL).

alright, thanks. I am a preferred customer myself. I already have the break in oil with high zinc. Short block is still factory, only cam, lifters pushrods etc.. are new. Not trying to seat rings since they are still original. Just asking what conventional oil to run with after the break in oil is changed before i go back to sig series from amsoil. Thanks in advance.

Default EOS= No for long engine life

OK, you can buy EOS at CarQuest/Advanced Auto, from ME to ship WW.
This is High Zink, etc.

The strangest report is the additive in engine oil reduces engine live at LOW output.

This is as tested in our 25K hour continues operating engines.

The Racing Engine has a different requirement with EOS a great help in longer racing engine life.
