No oilpressure at block of plate?

No oilpressure at block of plate? Hi guys
I have relocated my oilpressure switch and sender to the block of plate above the oilfilter.
I get no reading on the oilpressure gauge and the warning light stays on....
I have checked the sensor and switch on the bench, and they work fine.
With à mechanical oilpressure tester in the original senderhole in the back of the engine it reads 40psi steady at idle.
Anyone got an idea what can be wrong?
Next step is to meassure the actual pressure at the block of plate, but i havent got that far yet....
