Default I just spitballing

I'm thinking about building a different motor for my camaro. I don't know what to buy just yet. I know someone that can get me a deal on the cut outs. I want to build the motor, have it dyno/tuned and drop it in my camaro. I would like it to be a 6.0,stock rotating assembly, aftermarket heads, about 10.1 compression, nice cam.all aluminum,a solid 4-500 TQ/rwhp.
What motor should I be looking for?
This will be kinda a DD and mountain burner but has to be reliable as the day is long. I don't have a budget but like everyone else I don't want to wast money. I have to work it like this because i can't have my car disassembled in my neighborhood and i have NO room the garage.
Any advice would be helpfull. I'm sure there will be questions I can't answer so bare with me

No budget? Damn big balla, even John Force has a budget. As far as 400-500 HP window goes, that a big jump. For 400 rwho, you can just throw in a simple cam and bolt ons. For 500 rear wheel out of a 6.0, a good heads, cam, bolt on package will get you there. When I say good, I mean that to be very important. (Fast intake, 1 7/8 headers, etc.)

So, if you can't work on it in your neighborhood, and no room in your garage, sounds like
you need to find a shop and take it to them.
And if you want an all aluminum block and 6.0, I would tell your buddy to look for
an aluminum 6.0 they are in some cars and some pickups.

"an aluminum 6.0 they are in some cars and some pickups."
Yeah that what 'm looking for.He can get what I need but he has to know which vehicles have the motor.
I can do it in at my house BUT the car can't be apart in the drive way for more then a week or so.

I'll be ordering a new headers/true duels this month,I wan't sure where the FAST intake came in but it is on the list.
My budget is to do it right and don't over spend and do the labor myself. I'm sure anyone can get carried away building anything,I just want to be smart

An LS3 with cam/headers will make those numbers.

I'd personally skip 6.0 and get the aluminum 6.2. They're in a lot of chevy trucks cars suvs since what, 08.

Ok,I'm back to thinking about this motor. To answer a few questions. My neighborhood has a HOA and for the most part I've worked on my vehicles and no **** has been started.

Now back to the motor... I'm thinking about 4K as a budget?? I have nothing yet so I'm open to ideas.
