Medium Cam Radical Lope?
I've been strongly considering getting into a 228R or 228/232ish cam on a 110LSA, with mid-range torque being my goal in an 6-speed LS1GTO (mods below). Car will never be getting heads or a power adder, desired power band is 3000-6250rpm and I absolutely will not be removing the heads or replacing lifters when doing the cam. It seems forum consensus for my goals would be throw in a 228R and call it a day, but do I have some options that would be a mild cam and would also produce a wild lope/overall sound? (I know this will be somewhat determined by tune/idle rpm but I'm looking specifically for cam specs)
Mods:
Fast90/90
85 TB
Svede Intake
Kooks stepped longtubes
Catless mids
Manaflow catback
Sitting now at ~350/360 (dyno graph attached hopefully)

A 230/240 112+4 cam.
A 228/232 110+? 3? gives you 41 IVC and EVO of 49 (won't carry out past peak as well) and 10 degrees of overlap. So they will idle similar... and the 228 will build torque a little sooner, but the slightly larger cam will build it pretty close, peak slightly later (which would work better with the FAST), and the EVO will provide better breathing with the stock heads.
Your cam would peak around 6200 and mine would peak around 6300. And mine would carry out 500 RPMs where yours would fall over quickly. Peak torque would be very close around 4800 and probably within 10ft-lbs of each other. So on the street, you wouldn't' be able to tell, but as soon as you spun it up to 6600, the slightly larger cam would win as it doesn't give much up under the curve but beats it up top.
He worked in his garage, late nights, on bicycles.
He asked for the same type of performance.
He required GOOD low end Torque and max HP.
He asked for that same "song".
I assembled his engine with a Crower Camshaft 236/242 @ 105 CL.
ALL stated to him "this will never perform" !
He won the next race at Riverside, his class.
He was VERY Happy,
