Default 383 stroker cylinder wear

Ok, no need for a holy war just wondering if anyone has had any problems with making a 5.3 into a 383 stroker. The reason I ask is because the skirt of the piston comes out of the sleeve with the longer stroke. This has to have some impact on wear in the cylinder. I may not be enough to matter. Note I am going to be running 5-8 psi of boost so there is already some additional pressure on the pistons / rings.

Maybe going with the 3.905 bore and 3.9 stroke will reduce the wear. Not sure that setup exists as a kit

Has anyone put 50,000 miles on a stroker and broke down the motor to see what it looks like?

Hi, I ONLY use a late GEN-IV AL block for this request.
I use a 4.00"/4.10" crankshaft with good luck @ 98mm +.003" bore.
The later block uses a longer sleeve as is also stated by GM.

I fit RaceTech pistons designed for this stroke.

I would be MORE concerned with the Bore Size/Head Gasket. (FP 1041's)
