98 ls1 heads on 06 5.3 I want to take the heads off of my 06 5.3 and put them on my 98 ls1. But i want to know will it be alright to put my ls1 heads on my lm7? Just wanting to make some extra power on my vette but still be able to drive my tahoe.
This isn't really Advanced Engineering Tech. You would have more response in the Gen III Internal Engine forum.
There is no reason why it would not work. But the 98 LS1 casting is not as good as the 06 5.3 casting I do not think. It might be marginally better for the LS1 and worse for the 5.3.
