Default Looking for some advice

After a lot of time Im finally getting in position to be able to put together my little street car. The car is a 98 Camaro SS and the planned build is a 6.0/4l80e

My plans are to use the stock rods and install some wiseco pistons most likely because I have found a great deal on some. However the particular pistons that I am looking at come with a +4 dome and I am planning on running some ported 862 heads. With this combination I am coming up with a compression ratio of around 12.2 or so. This has me a little concerned because this will be a street car that will see a little track time. I think that I may be alright because I am planning on running a 236/242 6xx/6xx cam. So what I am really looking for here is for some of the gurus to give me some input on my planned build.

I wouldn't run that much compression on pump gas. E85 would be okay though.

A competent machine shop should be able to mill off the domes for less than $100.

Ditch the 862 heads, and pick up a set of 243s. If you're going to go to the effort, do it right.

OK I will check with my machine shop. What would be the most compression that you would run on 93?

I also have the 317 heads that came with the 6.0 as well. Can I get those milled to about and achieve around a 11.5 compression ratio?
