Default Advice Needed

Hello all, a little background info, 2000 SS M6, TSP LT's, Dumped Duals, soon to have P1SC1 with a low boost pulley. I recently ordered some PSI 1511 springs so I can increase hopefully rev a bit higher without having any issues. I was wondering if titanium retainers would benefit me in any significant way for my setup or would it be negligible. Is it possible to have too light of a valvetrain? If I dont need titanium retainers I was going to just use my stock ones. Thank you for the input.

The lighter the better. Titanium is also stronger. The hyd roller valvetrain is very heavy as is...

Compared to what, a Pro Stock engine?

Titanium tends to wear faster than steel too. In a beehive spring, the retainers are already very small so a titanium retainer will only save a few grams. Most people will say it's not worth the $225 (Comp brand) because it's such a miniscule savings.

Thank you for the information. I didn't even consider how a beehive spring retainer would be smaller than a standard retainer. Looks like I will be reusing my stock retainers and putting the money to other parts.
