Timing gear and pump or no?
Car is an m6 55000 miles on the odometer. Only mods to date are long tubes and true duals. Only put on maybe 3000 miles a year and maybe 10 passes at the strip.
Cam going in is a tsp 233/239 600/600 lift 112 lsa.
Also doing the dual .660 lift springs and lifters and pushrods.
I'm basically wondering how risky is it to leave the stock timing gear and oil pump in the engine and how many of you have done it and what kind of reliability has been had.
