Default Difference between 2004 and 2005 4.8

Hello everyone! I recently picked up a 2005 Tahoe with a bad 4.8 engine. I got a good deal on a 2004 4.8 with low mileage. I was just curious what the difference was since the junkyards interchange shows 05-07. Any insight would be appreciated.

Then Gen 4 4.8s didn't start rolling out until 2007.
An 04 4.8 should drop right in an 05 no problems.

That's what I was hoping. The biggest difference I could find was in 05 they went to floating pins and bushed rods and the 04-99 have pressed pins. Just want to make sure I don't miss something before I stuff it in tomorrow. Thanks!

The floating pins should be an upgrade over your stock rods.
