Default 5.3 362 stroker solid cam

Looking for some ideas, I just dropped a 5.3 block of at the machine shop, getting tanked, bore to 3.80, new cam bearings.

so Texas speed has some nice little 3.80 piston and rod package with either rod length for standard stroke or 4" stroke.

with some cnc 317 heads, will a solid roller do me any good?
it's a dedicated stip car, stripped wieght as far as it can really go. Tub, 9" 3.89 gear, built th400, big stall (not yet purchased)
Turbo (not purchased)
I'm liking the idea of 8k rpm shift points, and if the stroke don't get in the way of that, I believe a solid roller will get me there.
what's every ones thoughts

Why not take the bore to 3.905 and have a 383? The bigger bore lends itself to better cylinder head performance and it's 21 more cubes.

I plan on putting some boost to it, so I was wanting to keep as much cylinder wall as possible.

Oh yeah, I see. Why the 4.00" stroke?

Cubes on a budget, most 6.0s go for around 1500 long block nothing els around here, and very rare to find a short/empty block. >900 for the crank ~1000 for the rods and pistons and 200 in machine work.
also, if I ever happen to find a 6.0 block cheap, I can reuse the crank and rods for a 408 build and sell the 3.80 pistons to offset the 4.030 pistons price
