Default Need Help With .620 Cam!

Hi guys! I did some research on the forums and didn't find a clear answer to my question.

I bought a comp cam with .620/.612 lift. Will I need to swap pistons in order to avoid issues with the valves?

I've seen mixed answers so far maybe you can help me clear this up.

Thanks.
Here's a picture of my cam specs:

You will have to measure. The lift doesn't matter it is the duration that matters and 235/244 on a 112 is to close to call.

You're not going to get 100% answer anywhere on the web or any magazine. The only way to know is to actually measure.

But IMO, that will be close and definitely merits doing the work to check PTV.

Definitely measure. I have a 223/231 .610"/.617" COmp cam on a stock LS-1 bottom end and had to retard the cam 4 degrees to get adequate clearance.

I'll measure it for sure... I was thinking about selling it and getting a different cam. But I'll see what are the results. Thanks guys!

Not knowing the ICL I agree itll prob be very close. The more advanced the worse the intake clearance gets. If you want to run it, at least get an adj timing set so you can advance or retard it if need be.

We have the ls2 style here
http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=235_426_211&products_id=585 7

Itll work on gen3 ans gen4 blocks that are 24x.

(You may have to copy and paste the link as ls1tech redirect isnt working well lately)
