Default Piston rings

I bought an 04 GTO has a Texas speed 383 shortblock. Wiseco pistons have 3.903 stamped in top. I have no way to measure bore. Do I get rings size 3.903? What is recommended gap clearance on rings?

Get them +.005 and file fit them in. The manufacture usually provides paper instructions in the box giving end gaps for different applications, you use that formula to determine what is right for you. Avoid drop in rings, get Wiseco"s own brand, file fit them and your golden. Why do you need rings if you have a TSP shortblock?
