Intake backfire
Intake backfire Hey all,
Recently my car has started backfiring through the intake when cold. This only happens when revving from idle. It will hesitate and pop, then revs smooth. It seems to clear out after 5 mins or so of driving. As the car gets warmer it begins to run rough though and there is a definitive power loss. I will be doing a compression check today to check for HG issues. Anything else I should take a look at while I am in there?
Car is running speed density.
Replaced the o2's this weekend with GM dealer parts and it hasn't helped.
Changed the lifters and moved to a .040 HG 3 weeks ago. Ran fine for 2 weeks. Less than 2k miles on all parts in sig.
