Default oil leak

just cranked the new motor up in my 2000 z28 and its leaking from the front seal I forgot to install the balancer before torqueing the timing chain cover down. don't want to remove the U/D pulley well I cant one of the puller bolts broke off. any idea how to fix? I was going to try taking out all of the front cover bolts and sliding it back and forth on the pulley then re torque

yeah un bolt it, and let the seal "rest" or return to it's as-molded shape for a day or so and then retorque. worth a try.

is the pulley aluminum or steel? if ally, you can use the busted manifold bolt removal technique if you have a welder
