Default Oil pump ?

I have my 01 ls1 torn apart and trying to figure out what pump to get. Motor is turbo charged. Should I get a high volume or high pressure? I see both types from the vendors.

The turbo will use up that extra volume

If you used a double roller chain youll have to grind.

If you're running a dual roller, I highly recommend the SLP oil pumps, there pre clearanced for dual row chains. Mine bolted right up with my comp dual row chain, no shims or any of that crap. It also comes with the high oil pressure spring if you wish to go that route.

I'm sure ws6store can supply you one

I'm also wondering if the ls7 lifters upgrade is necessary. When I took the motor apart it only had 32k on the clock. My local dealer quoted me $350 for the set. I have a small cam with heavier springs. Cam is a speed inc Tu1 225/225 581/581on a 113. I saw the melling 10295 oil pump, any thoigjt on that?I don't want to get a dual roller chain and worry about spacing ect.

Our ls7 lifters are $95
We also have top end kits way cheaper than the auto parts store or gm.
We ar the one stop shop. The ls7 lifters are a good idea to replace the factory lifters with any miles on them. Assembly line parts are diff from service parts. Normally the service parts are better designed.
If you want to email me i can let you know what we got!
