Correct Pushrod length?

Correct Pushrod length? My installer just measured for Pushrods and came out to 7.70. Does that seem a bit long to anyone?
Mods are Tfs 220 as casts, GM MLS gaskets, Johnson 2116lsr lifters, Titan IV cam, and stock rockers on an LS1 block.

Edit - the 7.7" got me the first time too
