Default Milling 241 heads to get to 64cc

Im going to run a tsp 224r 600 114 lsa cam. Im going to pull heads of to install morel 5315 replacement stock style lifters. How much milling would it take to get to 64cc from my 66.67 stock cc. What would the compression ratio be after the milling? I would like around 10 5 1 or whatever a stock 243 head came with from the factory. How much of a power increase is there to be gained by doing this? Thanks

.010 to .012 off would get you pretty close to where youd want to be. ideally every .006 is 1cc.
You wont gain alot but maybe a slight bump in tq with good timing and premium.

I milled mine .030" to end up at 62cc and with the GM .051" head gaskets my final compression was about 10.75. Worked well with my EPS 218/226 valve tickler

It's free power no matter how you look at it since you want to replace lifters anyways. The heads should be decked since they'll be coming off and it's only a minimal charge to go from .005-.007" trueing deck to cutting .030" to get some compression. The bump in compression will improve throttle response and most of all the peace of mind you get. You won't be wondering what it would have been like if you milled the extra off.

But will also limit cam selection in the future.

Very tried statement without fly cutting. But let's face it these heads at best are $200 castings. If trying to go to a bigger cam for more power later on I think heads would be the best place for more power at that point.

You could also use a thinner head gasket with the mill.

^^Just need to verify how much the piston comes above deck to know how thin you can go on the gasket.
