LS1 rotated upside down on an engine stand

LS1 rotated upside down on an engine stand I have my engine mounted on a stand, and decided to start cleaning it up today. I cleaned up the top, then rotated the engine upside down on the stand to clean up the underside. What I hadn't don't beforehand is drain the oil. 
After cleaning up the underside for about 2 hours, I realized there was oil coming out of the air intake. As soon as I noticed it, I rotated it back upright.
I realize I shouldn't have done what I did. Trying to find out if I caused any damage by doing this.
Any recommendation on things I should do to make this right? I wasn't originally planning on opening the engine up...was just planning on cleaning it, but wondering if I'm going to need to open it up now.
