BTR stage 4 cam in a 5.3?

Has anyone had any experience with a BTR stage 4 cam (233/248 .618/.596) lift with 113 LSA? I just put a a 5.3 on my car with stock heads, just double valve springs and was thinking of a stage 4 cam. Car is a 1/4 mile weekend car with no street use and has 3800 stall.

Might work okay with a 250 shot.

Possibly a little big, but curious how it would work. We've used his stage 3 turbo cam 230/235 114 as well as a 231/239 113 and both work well in 5.3's we rev them to about 7500.

I put an MS3 cam in my LM7 when my custom grind failed. I know its not nearly the same cam but its a really big cam for the application like the BTR cam. The thing made NO power before mid 5k. and I have a 4000 stall, TH350, and 4.11 gear. If you were in a car that weighed 1000lb less it might be optimal. But, if you're in an Fbody you would need a 4400+ stall, and a huge gear to compensate for the power loss down low, and even then you would have to take it up to 7500.
